The Lakewood redevelopment, which was jointly funded by the Federal Government and one of Australia’s biggest co-operative housing provides, consists of 80 units for renters needing secure and affordable accommodation. The development features 80 and incorporates six-star energy rating and universal design principles with a unique feature of this building being the involvement of all residents in the care of the common lounge and extensive landscaped areas building a stronger sense of community and ensure that all residents are able to participate in and make a contribution to their broader home environment.
